Elementor vs ReadyMag vs Wix – My Experience on No-Code platforms
Yet to try the hero of the current scene Webflow, here's my verdict on all the plugins/platforms I've been using so far for no-code web design
01. Elementor Pro
Humbly remembering the early days of page builder plugins like visual composer on WordPress environment, things have come a long way since and this may be the pinnacle of those plugins. Very intuitive and with limitless possibilities (if you have the paid version) Elementor has certainly made designing in WordPress an enjoyable experience. The only downside for me is that if you don’t have development knowledge (like me), factors like technical SEO might have an impact because of multiple layers on your website. But easily fixable with a bit of knowledge of SEO and development. Cannot wait for future updates and the next frontier of WP page builders.
02. Readymag
New kid on the block and certainly the flashiest, Readymag gives creative freedom to build advanced design-heavy sites with minimum skills, and their library of design tools/plugins (like customizable curser activated motion slider) is insane. Check out the acclaimed Stanley Kubrick fansite created by studio Tubik to see the full potential of the platform https://kubrick.life/ (Another platform that has been on my radar for some time now is Tilda. Need to give it a try soon)
03. Wix
Wix has been on the scene for so long and competing for the same space as its brother, Squarespace. I am pleasantly surprised after revisiting the improved platform and its versatility in design tools and ease of deployment. Maybe the most comprehensive platform of the three that offers everything (SEO/advance analytics/advertising/ecommerce for a price) I can assure you that the shortest time I have spent on successfully connecting a domain to the website has been with Wix. If you have money to spend, this is the platform to go to.
